Ocean Coral Springs Jamaica Destination Wedding Packages

1. Services of minister, civil judge, priest, legal documentation and related fees are not included.

2. If having a symbolic wedding or renewal of vows copy or marriage certificate is mandatory.

3. Final confirmations have to be made 40 days prior to the wedding date, not changes will be allowed after this date.

4. You are aware that if you are having guests that will not be staying at the hotel you need to pay an event pass US$70.00 (special price for event day, arriving 30 minutes prior to the wedding) + the applicable wedding event fee.

5. Private Dinner-reception included in the package has a duration of 3 hours (start and end time will be determined according to the venue selected. Hours can be extended to 11:30 pm by paying $750 per hour for open bar up to 50 people.


6. Wedding cancellations must be notified in writing 300 days in advance of the scheduled date. There will be no refund for cancellations after this period and in case of reimbursement the hotel will retain 20% of the deposit paid to cover bank charges and taxes. Wedding deposit to save the date is not refundable.

7. The hotel holds property and visual rights. All outside providers need hotels consent to access the property, in which case, a charge will apply depending on the situation. If you are planning to bring an outside provider, please ask your wedding specialist about the confirmation and specific fees.

8. The hotel Ocean El Faro has an exclusive contract with the Photoshop and does not allow external photographers or videographers in hotel premises under any circumstances. If the couples have the intention to book an outside photographer anyway please be advised that there is a fee of $600.00 USD per person to be paid by you or your photographer to Tropical Studio for the use of hotels facilities and images.

9. The hotel does not assume responsibility for any item, personal or professional brought onto the resort prior to, during or after the wedding event. These include, but are not limited to, floral arrangements, decorations or equipment.

10. Items included in your package are not interchangeable for other inclusions, no cash refunds nor do credits apply for unused items.

11. The final decision regarding where to hold the event is entirely up to the couple therefore the consequences of bad weather will affect your event depending on your decision making. Your wedding specialist will provide updated weather info the day of the event, should the couple decide to keep the outside location and bad weather occurs hotel will move the event to whichever location is available at the moment. Be advised that in this scenario there are No time frames for the next set up and conditions may not be as originally planned. The hotel may not be held responsible, nevertheless be assured we will do our best to accommodate your event.

12. You are aware that package down grade request will not be accepted.

13. Legal ceremony time is only given by the judge. If the couple is late for the legal ceremony is not the hotel responsibility if he doesn’t celebrate the wedding.



Payments policies:
1. Remaining balance is payment due 40 days before the event.

2. Methods of payment accepted by the hotel are: Credit card or cash, we do not accept traveler’s checks or personal checks.

3. Take note that some services providers only take cash payment; please verify with your coordinator prior to your arrival what services are cash only.

4. As per country regulation all payments with credit card must be charged in Dominican pesos. The hotel will use its internal rate to convert the US dollars into pesos. Please be advised, in some cases, your bank may convert the amount in pesos back into dollars at a different rate
