New CDC Travel Requirements
What you should know before you book your destination wedding, honeymoon, or bachelor(ette) travel requirements for re-entry to the United States.
Effective January 26, 2021, U.S citizens and international travelers ages two years and older returning to the United States are required to present a negative Rapid Antigen or COVID-19 RT-PCR test. The negative COVID-19 test must be taken within three days (72 hours) of departure and presented pre-departure at the airport. Airlines must deny boarding of passengers if they do not provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test.
Here are some of the resort offering free testing on the resort for their guest.
Karisma Hotels & Resorts: If a guest’s test results are positive, Karisma will provide quarantine accommodations at no additional cost until a doctor certifies clearance for travel with a negative test result, for a period not to exceed 14 nights. These services will be available to guests for as long as is required by the CDC.
Blue Diamond Resorts will offer US travelers free on-site COVID-19 viral tests in select destinations and free Medical Assistance coverage to cover the cost of any accidents or illness, including COVID-19 related medical needs. This procedure will be carried out by medical professionals on-site in a designated area of the resort. The viral antigen testing is available at an extra cost in Antigua & Saint Lucia.
Palace Resorts guests will have their tests conducted on the property at no cost to guests (for up to two guests per room) traveling to the United States. Should a guest test positive, preventing departure, Palace Resorts and Le Blanc Spa Resorts will cover the cost of quarantine for up to 14 days at no cost to guests, for up to two guests per room should both guests test positive. Additional rapid tests will be available at a minimal fee of $19 per guest.

Iberostar Hotels & Resort guests will now be able to take the COVID-19 antigen test on-site before returning to the U.S. at no additional cost for all adults and children. This service is provided by an accredited medical testing lab that complies with the CDC’s requirements and is conveniently available in our resorts’ dedicated facilities. Results are provided typically within 30 mins of the test.
AmResorts guests will be provided a COVID-19 antigen testing on-property at no cost to guests traveling to the U.S. If a guest receives a positive test.
