Wedding Group Amenities
Complimentary Nights - US:
- The couple will receive one (1) complimentary room night for every ten (10) room nights paid, up to a maximum
of fourteen (14) Complimentary Nights.
Complimentary Passengers - CA:
- The couple will receive one (1) complimentary passenger for every ten (10) passengers paid. (The 11th
passenger is free.)
Room Upgrades:
- The couple will receive 1 complimentary room upgrade to the next available room category up to the Alcoba
Ocean Front room category when booking 25 rooms or 75+ room nights..**
Private Functions***
• 5 – 9 rooms or 15 – 29 room nights = One (1) cocktail reception for one (1) hour.
• 10 –19 rooms or 30 – 59 room nights = One (1) private function for two (2) hours.
• 20 – 29 rooms or 60 – 89 room nights = One (1) cocktail reception for one (1) hour and One (1) private function for three (3) hours.
• 30 – 49 rooms or 90 – 149 room nights = Two (2) private functions for three (3) hours, must be held on different
days.
• 50 – 89 rooms or 150 – 269 room nights = Two (2) private functions for four (4) hours, must be held on different
days.
• 90+ rooms or 270+ room nights = Two (2) private functions for five (5) hours, must be held on different days.
*US: A surcharge of $10 USD per person, per night will apply for complimentary stays for taxes and gratuities. Complimentary nights are
awarded on room category booked up to Alcoba Ocean Front and double occupancy only. Complimentary nights will be refunded by the
couple’s booking source. A 3-night minimum stay is required per reservation in order to apply towards benefits. Benefits do not apply if
couple’s reservation is made through an online travel agency. CA: A surcharge of $10 per passenger, per night will apply for complimentary

**Subject to space and availability of the resort. If the couple has already booked a Alcoba Ocean Front room or higher, then they will have
the option to pass the “upgrade” to a family member for the same number of nights booked. A 3-night minimum stay is required per reservation
in order to apply towards benefits.
***Each room must stay a minimum of 3 nights to qualify towards the group benefits. Ceremony and private function locations are assigned
based on group size and couple’s request. Locations for ceremony and private functions are confirmed with Onsite Wedding Coordinator.
Onsite Wedding Coordinator is assigned once wedding proposal is paid in full and couple is turned over to the hotel 30 days prior to
ceremony date. Cocktail and reception must be held in the same location. If cocktail and reception are held in separate locations then
additional fees will apply. Please consult your Wedding Planner for these costs.
In order for Wedding Group Amenities to apply, all reservations must be booked through the same source, Tour Operator and Travel Agency
(if applicable) with or without a group contract. Couple’s reservation must be part of the group booking for benefits to apply. Guests that
book outside of booking source will be charged $25 per person per event.
Wedding Information
Destination Wedding Overview
• Last minute weddings: A $1,000 USD fee will apply if ceremony is requested 30 days or less prior to the
event date. Wedding will be turned over to the hotel for planning once contract and fee is received from
the couple. Last minute ceremonies must be held in the Gazebo.
• Décor included in the Experiential Wedding Packages will be extended exclusively for the ceremony only.
• The cake cutting may be done at the cocktail or private function. The hotel must be notified of couple’s
choice.
• Depending on selection of requested flowers, additional costs may apply. Please note that our onsite
flower selection highly depends on the time of year as well as our weekly floral imports. Certain flowers
may not be available.
• If couple would like to have items delivered to guest rooms, a fee of $4.50 USD per room per delivery
will apply.
• Large tables and groups are encouraged to make dinner reservations in advance. Reservations can be
arranged by emailing the Pre-Arrival Host at prearrivalhost@unicohotelrm.com. Tables of 12 persons or
less will receive the a la carte menu. Tables of 13-20 persons will receive a set menu based on the
chef’s suggestions and the groups preference. Reservations for parties of more than 20 persons cannot be
accommodated. Reservations can also be requested onsite a minimum one day prior with your Local Host.
Private Functions
• A set up fee is incurred when a cocktail and/or private function is on the beach. For a cocktail hour, it is
$18 USD per person. For a private function, it is $30 USD per person.
• Pool areas are not available for cocktail/private functions before 7:00 PM.
• All private functions that are hosted outdoors must be over by 10:30 PM.
• All private functions that are hosted in the ballroom can go until requested time with the purchase of
additional hours.
• Private functions in ballrooms may be either plated or buffet. Private functions in outdoor locations must be
buffet.
• Private functions will include standard décor set up. Additional décor may be purchased through an inhouse vendor. For details and pricing, please contact your Event Consultant.
• A $1,500 USD fee is charged for each third party vendor. If the vendor provides multiple services, the
$1,500 USD fee will apply per service. This fee covers one (1) person for one (1) day. Additional persons
that work for vendors, or access on additional days will be charged a day pass fee. If the vendor will
eat at the event a day pass must be purchased. Please consult with your event consultant for a variety
of in-house services prior to choosing a third party vendor and for the costs associated with third party
entertainment services.
• A $1,500 USD vendor supervision fee will be charged, and a $500,000 USD insurance policy will
be required, for any third party vendor needing to carry out audio visual work, bringing their own DJ
equipment, or installing heavy duty materials (trussing structures, tents, hanging fabrics, etc.) at the Hotel.
Civil / Legal Ceremonies Requirements - Performed Monday-Saturday
• The couple is required to arrive at the resort 3 business days (Monday - Friday) prior to the ceremony. They
must arrive by 12:00 PM in order for the day of arrival to count towards a business day.
• Civil ceremonies can be performed Monday - Saturday.
• An Administrative / Government fee of $1,200 USD will be applied to all civil ceremonies. This is in addition
to the collection cost.
• Birth certificates (certified copy of each)
• Valid passports
• Original blood test (to determine Blood type, H.I.V. and S.T.D). Test must be taken at the resort and results
are ready within 24 hours. Fee is included in the Administrative / Government fee. If test is positive, a
special release must be signed by couple in order to proceed with the ceremony.
• Certified copy of former spouse’s Death Certificate (if applicable)*
• If divorced, a certified copy of Divorce Decree is required. If divorced more than once, please bring each
Divorce Decree. If divorced less than one year, mandatory pregnancy test will be required. Additional fee
of $15.00 USD approximately applies if a pregnancy test is required.
• Legal documentation of adoption or name change (if applicable)*
• Tourist ID (provided by customs upon your arrival at Cancun International Airport)
Please be sure to complete all information correctly on tourist ID, otherwise you may need to obtain a new
Tourist ID at the airport.
• Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, passport and tourist ID of 4 witnesses. Witnesses must
arrive 2 business days (Monday - Friday) prior to ceremony. Witnesses must be 18 years or older. If
witnesses are not available, we will provide them at no additional cost.
• Civil ceremonies are performed in Spanish.
• A translator can be hired with an additional fee.
• Same sex civil ceremonies may be performed at UNICO 20°87°.
• Additional requirements may apply if either party is divorced.
Symbolic Ceremony Requirements - Performed Monday-Sunday
• The couple is required to arrive at the resort 2 business days (Monday - Friday) prior to the ceremony. They
must arrive by 12:00 PM in order for the day of arrival to count towards a business day.
• Symbolic ceremonies can be performed Monday - Sunday.
• Symbolic ceremonies are not legally binding.
• Passport and tourist ID of each in the couple
• Home addresses and occupations of the couple
• Marriage certificate (if applicable)
• It is the responsibility of the couple to get legally married in their home town whether it’s pre/post travel.
• Do not send documents by mail.
• Symbolic ceremonies can be performed in either English or Spanish.
• Same sex symbolic ceremonies may be performed at UNICO 20°87°.
Cocktail Party after Ceremony
From 10 to 20 guests - $600 USD
From 21 to 30 guests - $900 USD
From 31 to 40 guests - $1,200 USD
From 41 to 50 guests - $1,500 USD
• 1 hour of cocktail reception, premium open bar and hors d’oeuvres.
• Additional hours are $20.00 per person.

Private Wedding Function
• $60 USD per guest for 2 hours.
• Additional hours are $25 per guest, per hour.

• Plated dinner is offered in indoor areas only.

Wedding Pass for Non-UNICO 20˚87˚ Wedding Guests
• 2022: $157 per Adult
• 2023: $162 per Adult
*The hotel allows the purchase of Wedding Day Passes for up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of guests attending the wedding. The
day passes are only guaranteed on the day of the ceremony. The Wedding Day Passes allow access to the hotel during the ceremony and
until the wedding events are done.

A wedding at UNICO 20°87° is one-of-a-kind, filled with personalized details and artful touches inspired by
the region. Experience UNICO 20 87 and get an up close and personal look at your wedding hotel. We have
2 options available for you to confirm a room reservation.
Option 1
Discounted rate subject to availability, confirmable up to 60 days prior to travel.
• Room Rate: $255 USD for single occupancy / $340 USD for double occupancy in Alcoba Swim Up Pool
Category.
• Rate is applicable for 2022 travel dates only.
• Rate is available for 1 room, 2 adults up to 4 nights.
• This promotion is subject to space and availability at the time the reservation is requested up to 60 days
prior to travel.
• This rate is not available during the couples’ wedding stay.
• Room reservation is non-refundable.
• If the couple is a no show to their site inspection, then they will be charged the rate of that current day on
property for their stay.
If the couple reaches 25+ rooms or 75+ room nights, they are eligible for a credit of the amount paid towards
their wedding proposal. $10 per person, per night will be deducted from credit for taxes and gratuities.
* To receive the credit all 75+ rooming nights need to be booked through the same source. Site inspection nights cannot be applied towards wedding
room reservation. The credit applies for site inspection stays of 3 nights or more. If the couple is a no show to their site inspection, then the credit is
not applicable.
Option 2
Best available rate in any room category, confirmable any time prior to travel.
• Room Rate: Best available rate in preferred room category, travel dates and any number of nights.
• Room reservation can be requested any time prior to travel.
• Room reservation is subject to the payment and cancellation policies for FIT individual reservations.
If the couple reaches 25+ rooms or 75+ room nights, they are eligible for a credit on their wedding proposal
for $200 per night for one room for up to 4 nights.
* Room must be booked through AIC Hotel Group’s reservations department for the credit to apply. All 75+ rooming nights need to be booked through
the same source to receive the credit. The credit applies for site inspection stays of 3 nights or more. If the couple is a no show to their site inspection,
then the credit is not applicable.

Fees & Policies
Payment Policies:
• A $600 USD non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the wedding date.
• The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the couple’s wedding proposal and can be used towards an
Experiential Wedding Package or optional services.
• Final payments for all wedding services are due 45 days prior to ceremony.
• There will be a $500 late fee for any payments made 44 days or less prior to the wedding.
Cancellation Policy:
• For cancellations made 31 days or more prior to the wedding, the deposit is non-refundable. All other
payments are refundable.
• For cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the wedding, all payments are non-refundable.
Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted at the hotel.
